I have to have leather because I do wine tours but I hate how hot leather gets in summer and I burn my bum and thighs in summer when sitting down after suv's been parked for a while - does this material get hot and has same effect?

Lighter colors will not get hot like Black,
you can also purchase a sun shade which will keep the whole interior cooler including dashboard, seats & steering wheel.
